I remember the exact moment I first held you. How impossibly tiny your fingers were, curling around mine as if you already knew I was yours. In that one moment, everything I had ever known about love became too small a word.

Your papa builds things — websites, systems, plans for the future. That is his way of loving you. My way is simpler. I watch you. I watch every breath while you sleep, every flutter of your eyelashes when you dream, every little expression that crosses your face that I already know by heart.

I want you to know that before you were born, there was a space in me I didn't know was empty. You filled it the moment you arrived — quietly, completely, forever.

One day you will read this and maybe roll your eyes at how mushy it is. That's okay. Roll your eyes all you want. I will still be the one who loved you first, and the most, and without condition.

This little website is your papa's gift to you. But every memory stored inside it — every photo, every note, every small ordinary Tuesday — those are from both of us.
